I have a tote bag which my crafting friends wrote quotes on as a goodbye gift. One wrote, "Life is too short to knit with cheap yarn."
And then she took me to the local yarn shop because they were having a sale and I walked out with a single skein of yarn that cost at least five times what I normally spend on a single skein and which was NOT on sale.
But it's totally lovely, makes a delightful fabric knit up loosely, and I'm making a beautiful circular shawly wrappy thing. (I'll find the pattern details and link later.)
Mountain Colors, Half Crepe skein in color way Peppergrass, 100% merino. I'm using US size 9 needles.
